The TURCK TBEN-L Series Programmable Logic Controller offers CODESYS V3 Runtime programming within a fully encapsulated, IP65/IP67/IP69K, ATEX zone 2/22 rated housing. The two Ethernet ports serve as interface for programming, configuration and Ethernet/fieldbus communication. The two serial interfaces can be utilized to connect to RS232 or RS485 devices. The TBEN-L Series PLC includes a comprehensive list of protocols, including  PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, CANopen, and SAE J1939.

For connection of digital sensors and actuators, each TBEN-L PLC features eight digital universal I/O channels. The USB device port is designed as a mini USB B socket, which can be used as an interface for the DTMs and as a programming interface for the CODESYS software. The USB host port is designed as a USB2.0-A socket which is compatible with USB memory sticks for program backup, recovery, firmware updates and data synchronization. All TBEN-L Series units feature glass fiber reinforced housing, shock and vibration resistance, and fully-potted module electronics. Power supply ports are configured with 7/8 in 4- or 5-pin connectors. Units are programmable with ARGEE and BEEP (Backplane Ethernet Extension Protocol) software.
