TURCK RM-28 / RM-35 Multiturn Series Absolute Encoder

The TURCK RM-28 / RM-35 Multiturn Series Absolute Encoder is a reliable position sensing system with SSI output in binary or gray code available, with select variants featuring SinCos, RS422, and 2048 ppr configurations. High productivity is achieved thanks to the up to 2MHz clock rate of the SSI interface. The overall Ø 58 mm mm design offers compatibility with solid and hollow shaft configurations up to 0.5 in diameter. The die cast zinc housing offers ingress protection of IP67, with IP65 or IP67 rated stainless steel shaft configurations. Units come with a wide operating temperature range of -40 to 90°C, are magnetic field proof, with short circuit and reverse polarity protection. SET button and status LED indicators are available as standard, but can be configured without. Integrated TURCK OptoASIC technology allows for fewer required points of connection and components, improving operation and service life.
