Description
The TURCK RM-97 / RM-98 Multiturn Series Absolute Encoder is a reliable, batteryless position sensing system, power of operation achieved through Energy Harvesting technology. 0 to 10 V and 4 to 20 mA output configurations offers 12 bit converter resolution, signals scalable via teach inputs, and/or limit switch function (select variants). The overall Ø 39 mm (RM-97), or 36 mm (RM-98) mm design offers compatibility with solid and hollow shaft configurations up to 10 mm in diameter. The die cast zinc housing offers ingress protection up to IP65, with IP65 or IP67 rated stainless steel shaft configurations. Units come with a wide operating temperature range of -40 to 85°C, are magnetic field proof, with short circuit and reverse polarity protection.
