Description
The TURCK RS-107 / RS-108 Singleturn Series Absolute Encoder is a highly accurate position sensing system with up to 19 bit resolution, EtherNet/IP functionality with device level ring. Adjustable parameters include: preset, count direction, resolution, unity of speed, IP address, number of revolutions, position, diagnosis, position limit, and warning messages. The overall Ø 58 mm design offers compatibility with solid (RS-107) and hollow (RS-108) shaft configurations up to 15 mm in diameter. The aluminum housing offers ingress protection up to IP65, with IP65 or IP67 rated stainless steel shaft configurations. Units come with a wide operating temperature range of -40 to 80°C, are magnetic field proof, with short circuit and reverse polarity protection. Integrated TURCK OptoASIC technology allows for fewer required points of connection and components, improving reliability.
