Description

The TURCK RS-24 / RS-31 Singleturn Series Absolute Encoder is a highly accurate position sensing system with up to 17 bit resolution, SSI interface (binary or gray), with a SinCos incremental output available with select variants. The overall Ø 58 mm design offers compatibility with solid (RS-24) and hollow (RS-31) shaft configurations up to 15 mm in diameter. A durable die cast housing offers ingress protection up to IP67, with a wide operating temperature range of -40 to 90°C. Units are magnetic field proof, with short circuit protection, and reverse polarity protection with 10 to 30 VDC rated variants. Integrated TURCK OptoASIC technology allows for fewer required points of connection and components, improving reliability. Status LEDs and set keys are available.
