Description

The TURCK RI-16 / RI-64 High Resolution Series Incremental Encoder is a 58 mm diameter position sensing system, with both solid (RI-16) and hollow shaft (RI-64) configurations for integration flexibility. Pulse rates are available in 10000 and 36000 ppr variants, with 5 VDC, 5 to 30 VDC, and 10 to 30 VDC operating voltages, providing high scan rates alongside low power consumption. The stainless steel shaft features up to IP66 rated ingress protection. All units are magnetic field proof, with short-circuit and reverse polarity protection. Operating temperatures range from -20 to 105°C (RI-16 variants).
