Description

The TURCK RI-04 / RI-05 Mini Series Incremental Encoder is a compactly designed position sensing system with a 36 mm diameter, with both solid (RI-04) and hollow shaft (RI-05) configurations for integration flexibility. Pulse rates are available from 100 to 2048 ppr, with 5, 5 to 18, or 8 to 30 VDC operating voltages, maintaining a high scan rate despite low power consumption. The stainless steel shaft is rated for IP50 ingress protection, the durable brass housing IP65. All units are magnetic field proof, with short-circuit and reverse polarity protection. Operating temperatures range from -20 to 85°C.
