Description

The TURCK LM-5 Series Linear Magnetic Sensor is designed for position and movement tracking in industrial applications, with resolution down to 0.005 (5 µm), and push-pull or RS422 outputs. The IP67 rated, fully potted diecast zinc housing offers reliable protection and operation, with high vibration and shock resistance thanks to the non-contact technology this line is designed around.

The compact design of the LM-5 Series features and installation depth of only 10 mm, installation height of 28 mm, and a magnetic band width of 10 mm. A wide operating temperature range of -20 to 80°C, reverse polarity protection, lateral misalignment tolerances up to +1 mm, and clear
LED warning indicators when the magnetic field is too weak make this an flexible, intuitive measurement system solution.
