Description

The TURCK LRS Series Radar Level Sensor is a line of IO-Link enabled radar sensors designed for level measurement applications, with a 0.35 to 10 m range. The IP67/69K rating ensures reliable performance in factory automation, where interference from factors such as dust, wind or light eliminate optical and ultrasonic sensor as viable options. The freely radiating LRS radar sensors feature detailed analysis functions, and the absence of a metal guide probe enables use in hygienic applications.

The LRS Series' touchpad features capacitive buttons and a translucent front cap for the output of distance, level and volume values. Models are available with two switching outputs or with one switching and one analog output. The IO-Link interface and intelligent decentralized signal preprocessing provide extensive additional information for processing in condition monitoring applications in IIoT: signal strength, temperature values, operating hours or switching cycles. Utilization of Turck’s IO-Link master enables use of the Turck Radar Monitor via the IODD configurator, without the need for additional software.
