Description
The TURCK BC / NC Series Capacitive Sensor are a versatile solution for applications involving liquids or bulk material, offering reliable levels detection. This line of capacitive sensors is optimized for use across plastics, packaging, chemicals, and mobile equipment indsutries. Detection is possible through non-metallic materials as well as container walls. The BC (embeddable) and NC (non-embeddable) Series sensors provide fast and accurate detection of solid, liquid, metal and nonmetal materials across consumption monitoring applications.
The BC Series standard variants are optimized for most standard industrial environments, with moisture and condensation compensation. The BCT models feature IO-Link capability, reducing switchpoint setup time, and providing measuring signals via digitized 12-bit process value. BCT as well as BCF variants are immune to conductive films on walls or deposits. BCC variants are specifically designed for optimized detection of dry bulk materials, such as powders or granulates, even through large wall thicknesses. Due to the shielding integrated with these models, they have protection from static charges
*Select configurations may include appended cable or connector codes (e.g., V1141, 0.2-RS4T, 10M), or customized feature codes (e.g., /S****, /C****). To determine which of these special options may be the best solution, reference the datasheet found on the specific part number's landing page, under the Documents tab. Contact a TMMI engineer if further clarification is needed.
